Swami Vivekanand International School and Jr. College, Kandivali is managed by the American Education Trust and was established in June 1998; now having classes upto Standard XII (Science). The Trusts is registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. SVIS schools are affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Effective from the academic year 2013-14, both the SVIS Group of Schools at Gorai & Kandivali, plan to introduce ICSE curriculum, in a phased manner, to be expanded by natural progression every year.
