To build a fuel efficient vehile to combat current problems and create sustainable future for coming generations.

It all started in 2013, when a group of students from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering felt the need to use their technical knowledge and management skills to develop and innovate technology for the benefit of mankind. That is when, they all came together as Team ETA with a goal of providing a sustainable future to the world using technological innovations to achieve mileage in numbers that appeared to be just a dream for the current world.

Since then, the team worked tirelessly with the utmost commitment, dedication and countless of sleepless nights, to develop and be the proud makers of Jugaad, J-14, Arya and Triton prototypes.

The first ever prototype by Team Eta bought to inception in all its glory. The team was formed by a group of students from various engineering background who felt the need to improve current vehicle designs and develop innovations to increase the fuel efficiency and combat global problems like global warming. The prototype was built to compete in Shell Eco Marathon,2013 held in Malasia.

The car "Jugaad" consisted of a metal spaceframe with a sheet metal body cover to improve vehicle aerodynamics. The Prototype was powered by an Internal Combustion Engine. A single cylinder Honda 35cc Engine was installed along with a direct reduction drivetrain system to transfer power to the wheel.
