Mrs Meera Korde CEO of Saraswati Vidyale and Junior College, Rabodi, has a great vision and determination to work towards providing quality education.

This has led Meera Korde to establish Saraswati Vidyalaya and Junior College, Rabodi, SVPT’s second school and Junior College at Ghodbunder road among the top ranking schools in Thane. She dared to dream big and fight against all odds to make them come true.

Being the chairperson and administrator of SVPT, the progressive educationist has numerous future plans and is eager to execute them. This year, the building of Saraswati School, Rabodi is completing 25 years. She recalls, “It was a monumental moment for us when in 1981, Shankar Dayal Sharma, the former vice president of India, inaugurated the school. I’m happy to witness a number of our students shining in every walk of life and they always give the credit to the ‘sanskars’ instilled during their school days.” When asked about her journey, she said, “Education is indeed a noble field, but to make a significant contribution, one needs a lot of patience, self-trust and persistence.

My career started when I joined a school in Delhi where I met the enterprising principal, Usha Vaze. I admire for her leadership and administrative skills. She is my mentor who encouraged me to do B Ed and work in this field.”
