The SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) was established in 1995. SIESCOMS envisages providing quality management education for the nascent professionals, the dynamic future managers for 21st century. SIESCOMS's foundation maps its roots to the rich tradition of South India Education Society(SIES), one of the oldest and value-based educational trusts that run a number of educational institutes in the city of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Located on a sprawling campus at Nerul, the academic hub of Navi Mumbai, SIESCOMS boasts of one of the best physical infrastructure and academic ambience befitting a modern B-school.

Ever since its inception, academic programs of the institute enjoy full support and patronage of corporate sector and other stakeholders. Today SIESCOMS holds a place of distinction among premier business schools in India. It is the first B-school in the country to start an exclusive vertical MBA program for pharmaceutical industry. Similarly, it is one of the few B-schools to conceive a vertical program for the biotech sector. The program for NGO sector is the other unique initiative.

SIESCOMS has always been striving to provide quality education and in that pursuit, SIESCOMS received the ISO 9001:2008 Certification for quality management education the Lloyd Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). An important milestone on its journey of continuous quality improvement was reached when SIESCOMS was conferred upon with the prestigious Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality (RBNQ) award for the year 2008 in the "Education category. This is the only award developed in the country on the lines of the Malcolm-Balridge National Quality Award.

A highly committed group of qualified and experienced faculty enjoying respect and recognition in academic community and corporate sector forms an enviable part of our academic team. Majority of them have managerial experience and continue to maintain close links with outside organizations through consulting and research. They are thus adept at bridging the gap between theory and practice. Our faculty have drawn on their passion for teaching, their experience in working with organizations worldwide, and insights gained from their research to educate generations of leaders who have shaped practice of business in every industry. The core faculty base of 54 is supplemented with over 100 visiting faculty from the corporate world.

Research is at the core of SIESCOMS. The institute is also known for being one of the most innovative business schools always doing something new and creative, either in product or process. Established in the year 1995, the central purpose of SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) is to enrich the young minds by stimulating and sustaining a spirit of inquiry, directed at understanding the scientific, technological and cognitive aspects of working in organizations. SIESCOMS undertakes activities designed to accelerate critical thinking and thus enlarge the intellectual and creative capacities of its students.

At SIESCOMS every faculty has moved beyond the usual management education pedagogy and instead uses power of innovative thinking to hone smart decisions making abilities of each and every student. With the support, coaching and personalized attention of faculty as Mentors, we provide skills that are needed to solve complex business issues in the current VUCA environments. As we strongly believe in the value of quality and creative education for preparing responsible citizens, our placement record and rankings on diverse platforms as a "Top Business School” establishes our credentials to reckon with. Besides world class application driven curriculum which makes liberal use of simulations and cases, the two year AICTE approved PGDM Programs at SIESCOMS is full of continuous live projects and internships with leading corporate. Our Skill-Linked Immersion Project (SLIP) is well received by all stakeholders and is considered to be a major differentiator for us. The international accreditation of our flagship PGDM program by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), USA has put SIESCOMS on a different pedestal where only a few top Indian business schools exist.

Programs

SIESCOMS is an academic institute engaged in delivery of quality management education creating leaders and managers needed for the 21st century. The basic philosophy of SIESCOMS is to provide quality education and provide value to the students making them not only better managers but also socially responsible corporate citizens. The programs are meant for student community like MMS-Management program & MCA-PG Technical program). Philosophy, however, behind all the academic activities targeted at all sectors remain the same i.e. providing quality management education and improve the academic processes on a continuous basis.

Masters In Management Studies (MMS)

The Masters in Management Studies (MMS) is a two-year full time management program affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The program is conducted under the direction of the University with functional specializations offered in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Operations, System & HR.

SIESCOMS believes that class room learning, unless put to test in the real world, is meaningless; it therefore draws upon its excellent ties with the industry to go beyond the University stipulations and offers a holistic learning experience to the student.

Masters In Computer Application (MCA)

Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) was introduced in SIESCOMS in the year 2001. MCA is a two year full time program affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Spanning over four semesters, the course not only includes subjects that give a good grounding in the IT concepts & latest technologies, but also includes subjects like Soft-Skills to prepare the students to be more competent and are ready to face the dynamic corporate world. The programme offers a variety of Skill based courses to expose students with the latest tools used in the industry.

The MCA programme at SIESCOMS is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.

Certificate Program in Data Science and Business Intelligence

Since Data Science has become an important force shaping entire industries and value creation in firms, there is a great emphasis on facilitating alignment between management and data science technologies. This certification programme is designed to help the freshers and/or working professionals in acquiring essential skills and knowledge, addressing it with analysis of the business data, and finally gaining insight from the analysis to drive decisions. Prospective students require only a strong desire to learn and apply the concepts taught. No technical or statistical expertise is required.
