What is SNAP Exam?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a common written test conducted by the Symbiosis International University (Deemed University) for the admissions to MBA/M.Sc (CA)/M.Sc (SS) programmes offered by Symbiosis International.

SNAP is conducted once in a year and it is a computer-based test format.

SNAP 2019:

The Symbiosis International University has started the registration process on August 16, 2019, and it will end on November 23, 2019. For all the B-schools accepting SNAP scores, there is a common application process.

The aspirants who wish to appear for the SNAP 2019 entrance exam must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria and have to register online at https://www.snaptest.org

    SNAP Exam Analysis 2019

    The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) held on December 15, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm across 92 cities in India. This computer-based test comprises four sections – general English, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation & data sufficiency and analytical & logical reasoning.
    Around two lakh candidates appeared for SNAP 2019 for admission to various master's programmes. This year, SNAP, inspired by CAT changed the test format. SNAP 2019 rated between moderate and difficult. Here are some points related to SNAP 2019 exam analysis.

  • The total number of questions had been reduced to 110.
  • The question paper was divided into MCQs and special questions. 
  • The question paper consisted of three sections. 
  • The scoring pattern – 1 mark for each correct answer for MCQs and +2 for correct answer Non-MCQs. 
  • 25 per cent of the marks will be deducted for negative marking. 
  • The reading comprehension passages were moderate and a few logical reasonings were difficult. 
  • The general knowledge questions were asked from the recently held assembly elections. 
  • The expected cut-off score for SNAP 2019 will be between 85 and 90 marks.


  • General English 

    The two reading comprehension passages in the English paper contained 5 questions each. Most of the questions were based on the facts. The vocabulary-based questions were easy. Candidates also found questions related to grammar. Aspirants who attempted 30 to 32 questions accurately may get a positive result.

    Quantitative Ability

    Candidates found this section easier compared to previous years. Most of the questions were based on Geometry and Modern Math. The test takers didn’t find questions on data interpretation, instead, the questions were on data sufficiency. Candidates who have attempted around 25 questions with more than 90 per cent accuracy will get a good score.

    Analytical And Logical Reasoning

    This was divided into MCQs and Non-MCQs type. Candidates' physics knowledge was also tested in this section along with reasoning skills. Many test-takers felt that the questions in LR were moderate. Candidates who attempted over 20 questions with 80 to 90 per cent accuracy can clear the test.

    SNAP 2019 Exam Cut-off

    We expect that the SNAP 2019 exam cut-off score will be between 85 and 90. The shortlisting will be based on sectional and overall cut-offs. Candidates have to note that who will not meet the sectional cut-off will not be considered for shortlisting.
