Coronavirus Lockdown: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2020 Postponed

Odisha Join Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee has postponed the OJEE 2020 examination. A notice on the OJEE website says that the OJEE 2020 examination which was originally scheduled in the first week of May has been postponed till further notice. The detailed schedule will be released later.
The exam has been postponed in view of the lockdown extension announced by State and Central Government in a bid to contain COVID-19 spread. Odisha had announced an extension of the lockdown on April 9. Prime Minister Narendra Modi too, later announced extension of the nation-wide lockdown till May 3.
Schedule for the rest of the activities related to OJEE exam will be announced by the committee in due course of time after taking an assessment of the prevailing situation.
OJEE committee has asked students to not be worried, and abide by all the preventive measures being laid down, from time to time, by various Govt. Agencies to check the spread of coronavirus. Students are also advised to visit the official website, ojee.nic.in, regularly for exam related updates.
Earlier the committee had extended the application process for OJEE 2020 from March 27 to April 30.
OJEE is a computer based test held annually for admission to B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Pharm and Lateral Entry to MCA (LE - MCA) in government and private colleges of Odisha.
