The institution was established in 1940 with the aim of providing education to the children in the village of Goregaon near Mumbai. With only four boys and three girls, the school started in class five in the premises of Ambabai Devasthan. The saplings planted by Adyaguruji Govind Patkar in 1940 have expanded into a large tree today.

Dosibai GGiboy Kindergarten (Kindergarten), Dosibai GGiboy Primary School (1st to 4th) and a. V Goregovkar English School (5th to 10th), these 14 schools have more than 1,400 students in the middle and lower financial levels. Also, 'Kamala Mafatlal Mehta Computer Center', 'A. V Goregaonkar Sports Academy 'and' P. B. Samantha Education Promotion Effort ', a Center for Quality Education, has been launched. The Center is working to educate the children, both directly and indirectly, in their efforts to enrich each other and to help the students to prosper.

The Center constantly strives to improve the quality of education. For this purpose, trainings, workshops, lectures, educational tours etc. are organized for the purpose of the teachers to provide practicality and entrepreneurship. Also, the necessary actions are taken by studying various issues of the government's policies, laws, rules, decisions, their implementation related to the education system.

Adyaguruji Govind Pandurang Patkar started the school from the 5th (then 'English 1st') in the premises of Ambabai Devasthan in a verandah with the permission of Motiram Desai Topiwale. At that time, the school started teaching English from 5th to 5th. In the schools where English subjects were taught, those schools used to be called 'English schools'. Therefore, the school was renamed as 'Goregaon English School. Patkar gathered students from house to house. There were three girls in the school they started with seven children. Patkar Guruji became the first Headmaster. The school adopted the song 'Vande Mataram' in view of the independence movement of the country.
